November 10, 2021 (MLN): Adviser to PM for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood, has lauded Udhaar Book, a super app for Pakistan’s small businesses and Savyour, Pakistan-based fintech, for securing investment of US$6 million and US$3.3 respectively.

Udhaar Book raised seed funding from multiple investors to build out its super app ecosystem while Savyour investment funding will be used to accelerate Savyour’s online expansion and launch the in-store feature for the platform.

“Entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship are something that really drives an economy,” he said.

“I see some fantastic start-up business ideas from our young minds, and it's very encouraging. We need more and more; Made in Pakistan brands,” he noted.
