Adequate Gasoline and HSD stocks available in the country: OCAC

The Oil Companies’ Advisory Council (OCAC) hereby confirmed that there are more than adequate stocks of both Gasoline as well as High Speed Diesel in the country and there is no truth to any rumours of fuel shortage.
The Advisory Council mentioned that Gasoline Stocks at the moment stand at 300,000 Tons and another 140,000 Tons of Imports are due to discharge into Shore Tanks from now till month-end.
Similarly, High Speed Diesel (HSD) Stocks are 550,000 Tons with another 300,000 Tons expected through imports from now till month end.
He said that the movement of all products from Karachi to up-country locations is also going ahead unabated.
Therefore, there is no possibility whatsoever of any shortage as being rumored by certain irresponsible quarters/associations.
