ACPL's sale of 9m shares in SAKCPCL completes on July 26

August 01, 2023 (MLN): The management of Attock Cement Pakistan Limited (PSX: ACPL) has announced that the process of transfer of the company's 9 million shares in Saqr Al-Keetan for Cement Production Company Limited (SAKCPCL) is duly completed on July 26, 2023, ACPL's latest filing on PSX revealed.

Moreover, the shares have been registered in the name of the buyers under Iraqi Laws by the Ministry of Commerce, Iraq.

Hence, amid the transfer of shares, the shareholding of ACPL in SAKCPCL has now been reduced to 30% from 60%.

The company earlier issued a notice on June 29, 2023, regarding the sale of its entire shareholding in its subsidiary SAKCPCL.
