Soghri North Well-1 commences Gas and Condensate production in Attock

September 19, 2025 (MLN): A new gas and condensate discovery in the Soghri Block, Attock District, Punjab Province, has successfully been brought into production.

The Soghri North Well-1 is now producing 14.0 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD) of gas along with 430 barrels per day (BPD) of condensate.

To enable early monetization, an 8-inch, 14 km flow line has been laid to connect the well with the Dakhni Plant for gas processing.

The processed gas is being injected into the SNGPL system. As the operator of the Soghri Exploration License with 100% working interest, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited has commenced production from the well.

The company has reaffirmed its commitment to fast-track monetization of discoveries, strengthening national energy security, and contributing to sustainable development in Pakistan.
