Shahtaj Sugar Mills power plant achieves commercial operation

October 13, 2025 (MLN): Shah Taj Sugar Mills Limited (PSX:SHJS) power plant has successfully achieved its Commercial Operation Date (COD) following the completion of all commissioning tests.

The achievement follows the successful completion of commissioning tests under Section 8.3 of the Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA), according to the company's statement issued today.

The Independent Engineer has issued both the Capacity Test Certificate and the Certificate of Commissioning, confirming that the plant meets all operational requirements.
