SCRA records Rs788m net purchase of securities

August 15, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.750.99 million during the week ending Aug 08, 2025 to close at Rs.27,359.36 million.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.788.41 million.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.8,345.15 million through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.3,543.95 million, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.4,801.14 million while dividend received was Rs.0.06 million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.9,096.14 million.

Outward remittances were Rs.3,453.87 million, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.5,589.55 million and total tax paid was Rs.52.72 million.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.22,187.85 million, Rs.2,029.47 million and Rs.-28.98 million to close at Rs.681,194.96 million, Rs.44,533.50 million and Rs.17,280.01 million.
