SCRA ends week above Rs33bn

December 12, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs.3.11 bn
during the week ending Dec 05, 2025 to close at Rs.33.36bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net selling of securities to the tune of Rs.7.19bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.16.52bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances
amount was Rs.4.6bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.11.48bn while
dividend received was Rs.0.43bn.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.13.41bn. Outward
remittances were Rs.7.51bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.4.3bn and
total tax paid was Rs.1.6bn.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and
PIBS changed by Rs.1.1 bn, Rs.-4.6bn and Rs8.88m to close at Rs.724.84bn,
Rs.65.15bn and Rs.23.57bn.
