SCRA ends week above Rs28bn

April 24, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.1.99 bn during the week ending Apr 17, 2026 to close at Rs.28.07 bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs.11.49 bn.

During the week, SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.20.56 bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends, with inward remittances amounting to Rs.2.22 bn, sale of securities recorded at Rs.17.52 bn, and dividends received at Rs.0.81 bn.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.22.54 bn, including outward remittances of Rs.16.47 bn, securities purchased worth Rs.6.03 bn, and taxes paid of Rs.42.52m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.12,51bn, Rs.-3,907.37m and Rs.95.93m to close at Rs.641.05bn, Rs.50.53bn and Rs.27.22bn.
