SCRA ends week above Rs28bn

May 05, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs.371.19m during the week ending Apr 24, 2026 to close at Rs.28.44bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.15.95bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.33.179bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances
amount was Rs.22.75bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.9.511bn while
dividend received was Rs.917.63m.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.32.81bn. Outward
remittances were Rs.7.339bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.25.46bn
and total tax paid was Rs.9.98m.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS
changed by Rs.-16.53bn, Rs.9.742bn and Rs.-18.49m to close at Rs.624.518bn,
Rs.60.267bn and Rs.27.205bn.
