SCRA balance rises by Rs725.5m amid net buying

October 09, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs725.50 million during the week ending October 03, 2025, to close at Rs29.68 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities worth Rs1.93bn.

During the week, SCRA received a total inflow of Rs40.62bn through remittances, sale of securities, and dividends. Inward remittances amounted to Rs14.90bn, sales of securities were recorded at Rs25.63bn, while dividends received stood at Rs88.33m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities, and taxes were recorded at Rs39.89bn.

Outward remittances stood at Rs10.66bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs27.55bn, and total tax paid was Rs1.68bn.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills, and PIBs changed by Rs24.10bn, Rs2.97bn, and Rs-3.97m respectively, closing at Rs768.28bn, Rs46.73bn, and Rs18.60bn.
