SCRA balance rises Rs92.5m

September 19, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs92.55m during the week ending Sep 12, 2025 to close at Rs30.07bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs1.09bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs21.25bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amounted to Rs6.16bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs14.27bn while dividend received was Rs821.9m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs21.15bn. Outward remittances were Rs7.01bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs13.18bn and total tax paid was Rs967.1m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBs changed by Rs10.71bn, Rs-5.56bn and Rs-9.45m to close at Rs718.54bn, Rs46.73bn and Rs18.04bn.
