SCRA balance rises Rs1.73bn amid net selling of securities

August 26, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs1.73bn during the week ending Aug 15, 2025 to close at Rs29.09bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities worth Rs4.33bn.

During the week, SCRA received total inflows of Rs15.38bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amounted to Rs1.96bn, sale of securities was recorded at Rs12.77bn, while dividend income stood at Rs648.24m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs13.65bn. Outward remittances were Rs5.19bn, securities purchased amounted to Rs8.43bn, and taxes paid were Rs20.27m

The market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBs changed by Rs12.80bn, Rs-1.64bn and Rs225.62m to close at Rs693.99bn, Rs42.90bn and Rs17.51bn, respectively.
