SBP revises export declaration format in PSW system

June 13, 2025 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has revised the format of the Export Undertaking/Declaration required under the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) system, as per Para 5(ii) and 15B(ii) of Chapter 12 (Exports) of the Foreign Exchange Manual.

Previously a part of the Manual E-Form/Electronic Form-E (EFE), exporters are mandated to file this declaration for receiving payments through Authorized Dealers (ADs).

In view of evolving business needs and system upgrades, the updated format has been issued and is attached as Appendix V-10A.

Authorized Dealers are now required to obtain the revised Undertaking/Declaration via the PSW system when initiating export transactions.

Additionally, to address any potential legal risks, ADs may also secure manually signed declarations from exporters.

ADs have been instructed to inform all relevant stakeholders and ensure strict compliance with these updated requirements.
