SBP Releases FY 2024-25 Financial Statements, Posts Rs. 2,500 Billion Net Profit

August 28, 2025  (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has made its annual financial statements for the fiscal year 2024-25 publicly available on its official website, along with the auditors' report.

In line with regulatory requirements, these documents have also been submitted to the Federal Government and the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament), fulfilling the mandates of Section 40(3) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956.

For FY 2024-25, the SBP posted a net profit of Rs. 2,500 billion. After accounting for the necessary appropriations under its accounting framework and statutory obligations, a surplus of Rs. 2,428 billion was remitted to the Federal Government, supporting Pakistan's fiscal operations.

The release of these statements underscores the SBP’s commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance, while also highlighting its key role in the country's financial ecosystem.
