November 24, 2025 (MLN): Premium Textile Mills Limited (PSX: PRET) has approved the purchase of a 7.5-megawatt wind turbine, marking a major step in the company’s ongoing shift toward renewable energy.

The development was disclosed in the company’s filing on PSX revealed today.

The approval was granted through a circular resolution dated November 24, 2025.

The company noted that the initiative reflects its commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible business practices.

PRET stated that the installation of the turbine is expected to significantly increase the contribution of renewable sources within its power mix, helping reduce dependence on conventional energy and supporting long-term cost efficiency.
