Pakistan's OMCs sales rise 9% MoM in October 2025

November 04, 2025 (MLN): Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) in Pakistan witnessed a robust recovery in sales volumes during October 2025, with total offtake reaching 1.5m tons, a 9% increase compared to September's 1.37m tons.

The monthly growth signals improving demand patterns in the country's downstream oil sector, though YoY performance remained flat, according to data released by The Oil Marketing Companies Advisory Council (OCAC).

Product-wise Performance

The growth was primarily driven by strong performance in High Speed Diesel (HSD), which recorded 0.71m tons sold, standing 4% higher than last year's levels.

Motor Spirit (MS) maintained steady volumes at 0.66m tons in October, down marginally 4% from the previous month and representing a 2% decline YoY.

Furnace Oil (FO) posted minimal volumes of 0.03m tons, up 108% MoM but down 54% compared to October 2024.

Company-wise Breakdown

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) saw 0.64m tons in sales, up 13% MoM.

Wafi Energy (WAFI) growth reached 0.12m tons in October, with a 4% MoM growth.

HASCOL remained relatively subdued at 0.04m tons, down 3% on a monthly basis.

Meanwhile, Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) reported total sales of 0.12m tons, reflecting a 7% MoM rise.
