September 08, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan reaffirmed its strong foothold in the global textile market with the participation of 10 leading companies at the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Autumn 2025.

Of these, seven firms showcased at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics (ITSA) and three at the Yarn Expo, including three exhibitors under the Pakistan Pavilion organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), while others participated independently, held from September 2 to 4 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics attracted nearly 3,700 exhibitors from 26 countries, while Yarn Expo featured around 580 exhibitors from 16 countries, highlighting the fair’s reputation as a premier international platform for collaboration, innovation, and trade.

The event drew trade visitors and buyers from across the globe, offering unmatched opportunities for sourcing, networking, and industry exchange through specialized product zones and national pavilions.

Pakistani exhibitors reported strong buyer engagement. Muhammad Abdullah Tanveer, Deputy Manager Marketing at Diamond Fabrics Limited, remarked, “We met many serious international buyers. Intertextile Shanghai is undoubtedly the best platform to expand our global reach and showcase our products.”

Echoing similar views, Khawaja Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal, Director at Mahmood Textile Mills, said, “This exhibition has always been valuable for us, and it is an honor to be a regular exhibitor for a decade.”

Industry representatives emphasized that Pakistan’s consistent presence at the fair demonstrates its commitment to delivering high-quality textiles and strengthening its footprint in global markets.
