Pakistan, China boost security cooperation

November 18, 2025 (MLN): Bilateral relations between Pakistan and China received a renewed boost as both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on security and counter-terrorism cooperation.

The meeting stressed the depth of the strategic partnership and the shared commitment to regional stability.

During the discussion, China strongly condemned the recent suicide attack near the Islamabad District Courts, with Ambassador Jian Zedong extending condolences over the tragic loss of lives. He noted that China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs had also denounced the incident.

Reiterating the foundation of mutual trust and respect, the Pakistani side emphasized that China has stood by Pakistan through every difficult moment.

In response, the Chinese Ambassador assured that China will continue to extend full cooperation to Pakistan, reaffirming Beijing’s unwavering support and commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
