PSX Closing Bell: Bulls Keep the Beat

October 21, 2025 MLN: KSE100 Index closed Tuesday's trading session at 167,346.83 showing an increase of 0.66% or 1103.93 points.

The index remained positive throughout the session touching an intraday high of 168,414.13 (+2171.23) points.

Total Volume of the KSE100 Index was 1,004.311 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 55 closed up, 45 closed down.

KSE100 index was supported by Commercial Banks with 487.89, Oil & Gas Exploration Companies with 235.19, Fertilizer with 232.15, Technology & Communication with 96.34 and Automobile Assembler with 41.8 points.

Companies adding points to the index were BAHL with 279.86, FFC with 183.08, MCB with 170.32, OGDC with 124.63 and PPL with 72.66 points.

KSE100 Index was let down by Power Generation & Distribution with 94.25, Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. with 16.97, Engineering with 14.5, Cable & Electrical Goods with 7.88 and Automobile Parts & Accessories with 7.85 points.

Companies dragging the index lower were ENGROH with 76.97, KEL with 44.69, UBL with 39.0, MEBL with 37.03 and SYS with 27.94 points.

In the broader market, the All-Share index closed at 101,585.7 with a net gain of 452.89 points.

Total market volume was 1,819.326 million shares compared to 1,478.594 million from the previous session while traded value being recorded at 56.82 billion showing an increase of Rs.4.95 billion.

There was 492,698 trades reported in 486 companies with 216 closing up, 229 closing down and 41 remaining unchanged.
