PSX Closing Bell: A Bullish Beat Goes On

September 15, 2025 MLN: KSE100 Index closed Monday's trading session at 155,384.5 showing an increase of 0.61 percent or 944.82 points.

The index remained positive throughout the session touching an intraday high of 155,602.29 (+1162.61) points.

Total Volume of the KSE100 Index was 274.675 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 57 closed up, 40 closed down while 3 remained unchanged.

KSE100 index was supported by Fertilizer with 300.9, Cement with 200.54, Commercial Banks with 136.56, Technology & Communication with 101.4 and Power Generation & Distribution with 68.57 points.

Companies adding points to the index were FFC with 265.44, UBL with 92.79, HUBC with 89.7, TRG with 74.11 and NBP with 60.83 points.

KSE100 Index was let down by Textile Composite with 24.96, Real Estate Investment Trust with 22.52, Pharmaceuticals with 15.49, Leather & Tanneries with 14.47 and Paper, Board & Packaging with 5.81 points.

Companies dragging the index lower were HBL with 43.32, BAHL with 25.18, TPLRF1 with 22.52, ENGROH with 20.79 and MTL with 17.65 points.

In the broader market, the All-Share index closed at 95,133.57 with a net gain of 465.42 points.

Total market volume was 857.61 million shares compared to 987.589 from the previous session while traded value being recorded at 32.72 billion showing a decrease of Rs.7.19 billion.

There was 367,754 trades reported in 481 companies with 242 closing up, 205 closing down and 34 remaining unchanged.
