KE Retail Sukuk Launch Ceremony Postponed

September 5, 2025 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced the postponement of the launch ceremony for K-Electric’s Retail Sukuk, citing unforeseen circumstances.

The ceremony, originally scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025, at 9:30 am at the PSX Trading Hall, was to mark the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of the KE Retail Short-Term Sukuk with a traditional gong-striking event.

The KE Retail Sukuk is Pakistan’s first listed short-term Islamic retail instrument, designed to broaden access to capital markets for individual investors. The Rs 3 billion issuance includes a portion allocated to the general public and offers bill adjustment options for K-Electric consumers.

A new date for the ceremony will be shared once finalized. PSX has expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by the postponement.
