Gold price rockets to Rs425,178 per tola

October 08, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs425,178 per tola, up Rs8,400.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs364,521 after a gain of Rs7,202, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs334,156 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,984 per tola (+Rs55) and Rs4,272 per 10-gram (+Rs47).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,037 an ounce, up $42.9 or 1.07% from the previous session.

Gold prices climbed above $4,000 per ounce for the first time on Tuesday, as investors poured into the precious metal amid a weakening U.S. dollar, mounting geopolitical tensions, and persistent inflation.
