Gold price in Pakistan hits record Rs391,000 per tola

September 16, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs391,000 per tola, up Rs4,700.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs335,219 after a gain of Rs4,030, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs307,295 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,496 per tola (+Rs53) and Rs3,854 per 10-gram (+Rs45).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,687 an ounce, up $10.2 or 0.28% from the previous session.

Gold scaled a record peak on Tuesday, supported by a weaker dollar ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy meeting this week, where the U.S. central bank is widely expected to cut interest rates.
