FCCL denies interest in ACPL, issues clarification on media speculation

June 05, 2025 (MLN): Fauji Cement Company Limited (PSX: FCCL) has issued a formal
clarification in response to a news item circulating on electronic media dated
May 30, 2025, which suggested a purported interest of FCCL in Attock Cement
Pakistan Limited (ACPL).
According to FCCL, the company became aware of the news
report only upon receiving a letter from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX)
earlier today, on June 5, 2025.
The company stated that it had no prior knowledge of the report or its contents until being officially notified by the exchange, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.
FCCL emphasized that it is not a party to any transaction related to ACPL. In fact, the company clarified that it is the Fauji Foundation, not Fauji Cement Company Limited, that has been mentioned in connection with the purported interest.
