DGKC boosts solar capacity to 9.9 MW at Khairpur site

February 26, 2024 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of D. G. Khan Cement Company Limited (PSX: DGKC) has approved for installation of an approximately 3 MW Solar power plant at the Khairpur Site to diversify the power mix and reduce power costs, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

After its installation, the total solar capacity at the Khairpur site will be increased to 9.9 MW.

The company is principally engaged in the production and sale of Clinker, Ordinary Portland and Sulphate Resistant Cement.
