BWHL reports 20% growth in quarterly profit

October 10, 2025 (MLN): Baluchistan Wheels Limited (PSX: BWHL) reported a 19.9% increase in net profit to Rs 97.2m for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared with Rs 81m in the same period last year.

Earnings per share (EPS) rose to Rs 7.29, up from Rs 6.08 in 3MFY24.

The company’s turnover grew 44.1% to Rs 724.8m, supported by higher sales volumes.

Cost of sales increased 42.7% to Rs 555.4mn, leading to a gross profit of Rs 169.4m, up 49.1% from a year earlier.

Administrative expenses rose 37.7%, while selling and distribution expenses increased 12.8%. Other income climbed 39.8% to Rs 61.8m, whereas other expenses rose 51.6%.

Operating profit surged 55.3% to Rs 148.6m, and finance costs were higher by 20.7% at Rs 1.4m.

As a result, profit before taxation jumped 55.7% to Rs 147.2m. After an increase in taxation to Rs 50.1m, the company posted a net profit margin of 13.4%, compared with 16.1% in the same quarter last year.
