Urea offtake during March, 2018 reaches 342 thousand tonnes; up 65.4 percent

According to latest data released by the National Fertilizer Development Centre, total nutrient offtake during March 2018 was about 283 thousand tonnes, which represented an increase of 21.9 per cent over March 2017.

Nitrogen offtake increased by 40.4 per cent, while phosphate offtake decreased by 7.3 per cent over March 2017. Potash offtake also decreased by 10.2 per cent.

Product-wise, urea offtake during March 2018 was about 342 thousand tonnes, which increased by 65.4 per cent. DAP offtake was about 150 thousand tonnes, that decreased by 2.5 per cent over March 2017
