Unilever Foods Ltd makes substantial progress on its expansion project

January 24, 2019 (MLN): Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited has presented an overview of its expansion project to Pakistan Stock Exchange via a notification issued on Thursday. The scope of the project includes installation of new high capacity manufacturing lines, warehouse and related expansion in utilities.

According to the company’s announcement, the ordering for equipments of manufacturing line is complete. Moreover, factory acceptance testing for manufacturing lines is complete and the machinery has been delivered on site.

The mechanical works for utility piping have started, and the building civil works has been completed with the PEB structure erection in progress.

Other civil works including those for gensets, biomass boilers and road are in progress, the report further added.
