UN World Tourism Org. endorses creation of National Tourism Council Board

February 19, 2019 (MLN): United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN WTO) has lauded the creation of a National Tourism Council Board by Pakistan in a tweet, as it congratulated the country and appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan’s efforts.

“With governmental support from PM Khan, the board will form working groups for religious, cultural and historical tourism in order to rebuild Pakistan’s international tourism image,” read the tweet.

With this initiative, the government aims to bring in higher number of international tourists.
