UN calls for peaceful settlement of diplomatic row among Gulf States

The United Nations Human Rights Chief Zeid Ra'ad Al-Hussein has reiterated his call for peaceful settlement of diplomatic row among Gulf States.

In a press conference in Geneva, a Spokesman of the High Commissioner for Human rights urged the Gulf States to resolve their ongoing differences in a reasonable manner that might not impact their own as well as others' rights.

The Spokesman expressed concern over the demand of closing down Al Jazeera channel and termed it an unacceptable attack on the right to freedom of expression.
