Turkish leaders eye investments in Pakistan

February 12, 2025 (MLN): To discuss Coca-Cola Içecek’s existing investments and explore new growth opportunities, a high-level Turkish delegation met with the Finance Minister.

They reaffirmed their long-term commitment to Pakistan’s market, expressing confidence in its economic potential and investor-friendly policies.

The delegation, led by Atilla Yerlikaya, President of Corporate Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability at Anadolu Group, included Ahmet Kursad Ertin, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Coca-Cola Içecek, and Sunay Sanli, General Manager of Coca-Cola Içecek Pakistan.

They highlighted Coca-Cola Içecek’s existing operations and potential expansion in Pakistan, acknowledging the country’s improving macroeconomic indicators and the government's efforts to foster stability and a favorable business environment.

Welcoming the delegation, the Finance Minister recognized the contributions of Turkish companies, particularly Coca-Cola Içecek, to Pakistan’s economic growth and employment generation.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing a stable policy framework to support foreign investment.

Discussions focused on expanding business opportunities, streamlining ease of doing business, and implementing policy measures to strengthen bilateral trade.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening Pakistan-Türkiye economic cooperation, recognizing the mutual benefits of sustained trade and investment partnerships.
