May 08, 2025 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) declared a market halt today after the KSE-30 index dropped by 5% from the previous trading day's close, in accordance with PSX regulations.

As a result, all equity and equity-based markets were suspended, and all outstanding orders were automatically cancelled by the system.

The trading halt was triggered at 12:34:15 PM. According to the PSX notice, markets will reopen as per the following schedule: Pre-Open at 1:34:15 PM and Open at 1:39:15 PM.
