TOMCL secures UAE approval for 'Red, White Offals' export

October 03, 2023 (MLN): The Organic Meat Company Limited (PSX: TOMCL) has received authorization from the UAE authorities to export "Red and White Offals (frozen and fresh vacuum packed)" to the UAE, the company's latest filing on the PSX showed today.

"TOMCL is committed to providing high-quality products that meet the standards and expectations of its customers in the UAE and other markets." the notification reads.

To note, on September 20, 2023, UAE banned the import of fresh meat from Pakistan with effect from October 10, 2023, through the sea route after authorities discovered fungus on one of the consignments.

These approvals will have a positive impact on TOMCL's business, as well as generate good value for its shareholders, it added.
