December 17, 2018 (MLN): Tapal Energy (Private) Limited (TEPL) has proposed to extend the term of its generation license for 10 years commensurate with the remaining useful life of its generation facility, i.e. June 19, 2029.

According to a press release issued by National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), TEPL has stated that “the proposed Generation License Modification aims to ensure that the term of the Generation License caters to the remaining useful life of the facility.”

The company has further informed that the quality of service and performance will not be affected by the proposed modification.
