Strong response for Zarea Limited IPO, applications surpass around 22mn shares

February 24, 2025 (MLN): The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Zarea Limited has received an overwhelming response from investors, with total applications amounting to 21.76 million ordinary shares, significantly exceeding the issue size of 15.62mn shares.

According to the final subscription figures compiled by THK Associates (Pvt.) Limited, the general public subscription was held on February 17 and February 18, 2025, during which thousands of applications were received across different share categories.

The subscription breakdown includes 899 applications for 500 shares, totaling 449,500 shares; 792 applications for 1,000 shares, totaling 792,000 shares; 164 applications for 1,500 shares, totaling 246,000 shares; 956 applications for 2,000 shares, totaling 1.91mn shares; and 896 applications for above 2,000 shares, totaling 18.36mn shares.

The total amount subscribed stands at Rs357.4mn, indicating robust investor confidence in Zarea Limited’s market potential.

A letter from THK Associates confirms that applications for shares have been duly processed and compiled based on data from banks and the CDC E-IPO and PSX E-IPO portals.

Bank-wise subscription figures have also been provided for reference.

The applications for all ordinary shares will now undergo a scrutiny and allocation process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
