SSGC unearths 15 industrial units using illegal gas compressors

February 3, 2022 (MLN): In a recent development, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has unearthed fifteen large industrial units using illegal gas compressors/pumps which are used to increase the gas pressure, Hammad Azhar informed on Thursday.

Taking his official Twitter account, he said this is not only a gas theft but also an attempt to deprive all neighbouring industries and households of gas.

He further stated that a fine of Rs300 million has been imposed on one of the industrial units. Meanwhile, the operation is underway in other areas to prevent gas theft.
