SIFC's Green Pakistan Initiative sparks agricultural revolution

February 17, 2025 (MLN): The Green Pakistan Initiative by the Special Investment Facilitation Council is driving an agricultural revolution, opening the path for the country’s development.

Key figures from various sectors have expressed their support for this groundbreaking initiative.

Khalid Mehmood Khokhar, President of Kisan Ittehad, highlighted that the GPI’s modern machinery is significantly improving farming efficiency, with water usage reduced by as much as 80% compared to traditional methods.

Raheel Asghar, CEO of Millat Tractor Limited, praised the GPI’s potential to contribute to the country's economic growth and the well-being of its people, according to the press release.

He commended the efforts of Army Chief General Asim Munir and the government for taking bold steps toward the country’s agricultural advancement.

Furthermore, Ahmed Bilal of Sapphire Farm Services Limited pointed out the innovative use of drone technology in the Cholistan region, which is helping farmers reduce costs associated with labor, fertilizers, and pesticides.
