SBP to remain closed on Jan 01 on account of Bank Holiday

December 27, 2024 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all other banks will remain closed for public dealing on Wednesday, January 01, 2025, on account of Bank Holiday.

"The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed for public dealing on Wednesday, January 01, 2025, which will be observed as ‘Bank Holiday’. All banks / DFIs / MFBs shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on the aforementioned date," according to the notification issued by the Central Bank today.

However, all employees of the banks / DFIs / MFBs will attend the office as usual, it added.
