Sazgar reports 296% surge in four-wheel vehicle sales for Oct

November 06, 2024 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW) witnessed a substantial rise of 296.05% in the sale of four-wheel off-road and passenger vehicles in October 2024, with 1,002 units sold compared to the topline of 253 vehicles in the same month last year, company’s filing on PSX revealed today.

Concerning production, the company made 1,008 units of cars in October, compared to 244 units produced during October 2023, reflecting a massive increase of 313.11% YoY.

The monthly metrics comparison indicates a 21.16% increase in sales compared to 827 units sold in September 2024.

Similarly, production also increased by 13% in October 2024 as in the previous month SAZEW was able to manufacture 892 units.

In addition to the four-wheelers, the company sold 2,401 auto rickshaws, 139.14% YoY higher than the topline of 1,004 units recorded in the same period last year.

The production of the three-wheelers clocked in at 2,520 units, up by 111.94% YoY against the 1,189 units produced in October 2023.

Comparison on a monthly basis shows that the sale of three-wheelers increased by 10.75%, while production was recorded at 19.71% higher.
