Rs 1.3 billion released under PSDP for Finance Division projects

November 9, 2018: The government has so far released Rs.1, 270 million for different developmental projects of Ministry of Finance under its Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2018-19 as against the total allocation of Rs.12, 346 million for the current fiscal year.

According the data of Planning Commission of Pakistan, an amount of Rs.344 million was released for greater Karachi sewerage plant on cost sharing basis as against the allocation of R 862 million during current fiscal year.

Under PSDP 2018-19, the government has released Rs.200 million for Gwadar Development Authority as against the total allocation of Rs.1000 million for the fiscal year in progress for the development and uplift of these areas.

In order to ensure the clean drinking water facilities at Gwadar Port, the government has released Rs.200 million for necessary facilities of fresh water treatment water supply and distribution project under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor as against the total allocation of Rs.1200 million for current fiscal year.

Under PSDP 2018-19, the government has released Rs.100 million for Khyber Institute of Child Health and Children Hospital at district Peshawar as compared the allocations of Rs.500 million during current fiscal year.

The government in its federal development program had earmarked Rs.562.67 million for the establishment of cadet college Kharan for providing the education facilities in the under developed areas of the Province Baluchistan as against the allocation of Rs.562.57 million for the current year..
