RPL authorized to purchase assets worth Rs182.64mn

January 16, 2023 (MLN): Roshan Packages Limited (RPL) has authorized to acquire the land, building and transformer worth Rs214.87mn (forced sale value of Rs182.64mn), a notice issued by company to PSX on Monday showed.

The said value is calculated by registered valuer, against settlement of the company's receivable of Rs159.74mn from Roshan Enterprises, an associated company and transfer cost of assets amounting to approximately Rs13.38mn, which shall be paid by the company, the notification read.

To note, the company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of corrugation and flexible packaging materials.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs10.35, up by 22 paisa or 2.17% DoD.
