Rain disturbs parts of Karachi; Restoration work in progress: K-Electric

Due to disturbance in the K-Electric system, it has caused severe outages across the city. It has disturbed most of the parts of the city that are currently under darkness. However, K-Electric has assured that work is being carried out to resolve the problems.

According to K-Electric, out of that total 1600 Electricity Feeders across Karachi, some 80 Feeders seem to be facing problems due to heavy rains. K-Electric has started the work on fixing the transmission lines across the city. But due to heavy rains, the workers trying to solve the issues are currently facing problems which are being resolved by the management.

K-Electric has cautioned all users to stay away from poles and used all electric appliances with dry hands and wear rubber gloves or boots.
