Raheel Ahmed elected Chairman NBFI and Modaraba Association

September 27, 2018 (MLN): Mr. Raheel Q. Ahmed, Chief Executive of ORIX Modaraba has been elected as the Chairman of NBFI and Modaraba Association of Pakistan for the year 2018-19 at the 8^th Annual General Meeting of the Association held on September 26, 2018.

Mr. Adil A. Ghaffar, Chief Executive of First Equity Modaraba, has been elected as the Senior Vice Chairman of the Association, while Mr. Shiraz Butt has been elected as the Vice Chairman.

Other members elected as Members of the Executive Committee include Jalaluddin Ahmed, CEO of First Al-Noor Modaraba, Shuja Malik, Director at First UDL Modaraba, Karim Hatim, CEO of Awwal Modaraba, Ahsanullah Khan, CEO of Saudi Pak Leasing Company Limited, Syed Wajih Hasan, CEO of First Paramount Modaraba, Rana Shakeel Shaukat, Company Secretary of First Treet Manufacturing Modaraba and Hasan Marfani, CFO/Company Secretary of Modaraba Al-Mali.

The Association is a trade body that represents the Modarabas, Leasing Companies and Investment Banks in Pakistan.
