PSX restores pre NTS time schedule

October 31, 2021 (MLN): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has restored previous trading and office timings- Designated Time schedule (DTS) for the stock market, a notification issued by PSX said.
The decision is made in line with the latest decision of reverting to the previous system, Karachi Automated Trading System (KATS) as a short-term measure to provide uninterrupted trading for all TREC-Holders.
The restoration of DTS, as appended, shall take effect from November 1, 2021, and shall remain in force till further notice.
To recall, PSX issued the new DTS on October 22, which came into effect from the date of the Go-Live of the new Trading System, planned for 25 Oct 2021.
The key changes to the new DTS were; extension of 30 minutes for the continuous trading session, the reduction of the post-close session to 10 minutes, and the reduction of break period to 1 minute.
