PSX mandates annual free-float certificate submission for companies

October 07, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has amended a clause in its regulations, which now requires listed companies to submit an annual Free-Float Certificate, duly verified by an auditor, within one hundred and twenty (120) days following the close of the financial year.

This change pertains to Clause 5.7.2 (b)(ii) and has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

Accordingly, the above amendment took effect on October 3, 2024.
