PSX issues deadline for securities brokers' LC statements

February 13, 2024 (MLN): The Securities Brokers whose financial year-end is June 30 are required to submit their half-yearly Liquid Capital (LC) statements as of December 31, 2023, reviewed by their statutory auditors latest by March 15, 2024, according to a notice issued by PSX today.
Meanwhile, the brokers whose financial year-end is December 31 are required to disclose the calculation of their LC in their annual audited financial statements required to be submitted with PSX by April 30, 2024.
Furthermore, it must be noted that, in case of any difference between the reviewed/audited and relevant monthly LC statement, the concerned Securities Broker must submit the reasons for such difference.
