PSX announces independence day closure

August 08, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) will remain closed on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, being a National Holiday on account of Independence Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The local bourse informed through a notice sent to all TRE certificate holders on Thursday.

Additionally, the central bank has also announced that it will remain closed on the day.

Independence Day is a national holiday in Pakistan. It commemorates the day when Pakistan achieved independence and was declared a sovereign state.
