PSMC shuts operations from Feb 13-18 amidst supply chain disruptions

February 08, 2023 (MLN): Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSX: PSMC) will shut down the automobile plant from February 13 to February 18, 2023, due to a continued shortage of inventory level, the company filing on PSX showed today.

Despite this setback, the motorcycle plant will continue to hum along at full speed.

This news came as a blow to investors, who were hoping for smooth sailing for Pak Suzuki.

In the meantime, the motorcycle plant will keep the wheels turning, ensuring that Pak Suzuki's commitment to providing top-notch two-wheelers to its customers remains unshaken.

Overall, while this shutdown is a bump in the road for Pak Suzuki, the company is confident that it will come out even stronger on the other side.

The management is determined to ensure that this temporary setback does not throw the company off course and that it continues to drive toward success.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs131, up by Rs2.10 or 1.63% DoD.
