PSMC discontinues new booking orders for motorcycles

January 20, 2023 (MLN): Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has stopped booking new orders for its motorcycles for the time being owing to import-based supply chain constraints and uncertain production prospects.

To recall, on December 26, 2022, the company declared a temporary shutdown of its automobile plant from January 02, 2023, to January 06, 2023, again on January 06, 2023, the company extended the date for shut down of the automobile plant from January 09, 2023, to January 13, 2023, amid a continued shortage of inventory level.

Later, the management of the company decided to extend the shutdown of the automobile plant to date.
