Production from Wali (Bettani) Field commenced: OGDCL

June 15, 2023 (MLN): Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced the commencement of production from the Wali (Bettani) oil and gas field situated in district Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the company’s filing on PSX showed today.
OGDCL is the operator of Wali (Bettani) oil and gas field.
The notice added that OGDCL has successfully completed the installation of early production facility to fast track monetization of hydrocarbons.
The anticipated daily production rates of the Wali (Bettani) gas field with respect to gas and oil are 10 Million Standard Cubic Feet (MMSCF/day) and 1000 billion barrels (BBLS/day).
OGDCL will initiate production from the respective field within the next 24 hours, seamlessly integrating it into a national grid.
Going forward, the company would drill two additional wells, Wali Deep #1 and Wali Deep #2, and once completed, the gas production would enhance to 50 MMSCF/Day.
